HOUNDS HUNTER TRIALS
Open to all....Riders need not be
affiliated with a Hunt
Club
The goal of
the hunter trails is for you to
showcase your horse’s suitability as
field hunter over a course of
natural obstacles as found in
hunting territory such as post and
rail fences, stone walls, and water.
Horse and rider are judged at each
jump based on their way of going,
form and style of jumping. The four
additional obstacles are judged on
the horse’s obedience and efficient
execution of the obstacles.
